Welcome to our family cottage’s homepage. Here you should be able to find all the information you are looking for.

Here you will find relevant information about the location of the house, interior, reservations, prices etc. If you have any questions or suggestions for improvements, feel free to write or call.

We bought the house in 1998 and renovated it the same year and then again in 2000.

The rent during the high season is only 3400 Dkr. Rentals over a weekend or just a couple of days can be arranged if the dates allow it (but not in the high season).

We use the Internet to get a higher level of personal contact with our guests, which will help us improve this site and serve you better when it comes to guiding and on site help.

Pets are not allowed unless otherwise agreed with the owner.

Vacation Home facilities:
  • The house is located on a 2500 m2 piece of land with lawn and trees. All of it is bordered with trees except for an openingwhere there is a view of the bay. Between the land and the bay there is a 50m.wide common area.
  • The house is 75 m2 , 2 bedrooms with double beds. 1 bedroom with 4 bunk beds. Bathroom, hallway and a spacious living room with kitchen.
  • It’s equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator/ freezer, electric stove and oven and a coffee machine.
  • Radio with CD and television with DVD.
  • Wood burning stove and electric heat.
  • Big patio with furniture and grill.
  • Swing, sandbox, small blow-up pool, playhouse and stuff for the kids to play with.

  • The house is on the first row up to a clean, child safe beach with good swimming, windsurfing and fishing. Always lots of space.
  • ½ km to the south is a small gallery, where you also can get a small meal and icecream.
  • 3 km. To the town of Rodding with shopping, restaurants etc.
  • 5 km. to Ålbæk Camping (link to homepage in different languages), where there’s a shop, restaurant, miniature water park and miniature golf.
  • The nearest city is Skive(20.000), which is about 25 km. away. Skive has all the amenities of a big city. Movie theatre, golf, Game world, restaurants (Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Danish and more. Many pizzerias, discothèques, bars, glass blowing, big water park, marina, pedestrian streets and shopping centres.
  • Other local attractions is the middle age castle Spøttrup (walking distance), Jesperhus Flower Park and HF Ceramics, which has an exhibition of handmade ceramics. There are 2 Put'n'Take lakes by Håsum (15 km. away). Spøttrup and Skive Municipality invites everyone onto their homepage with lots of information about the area. The Tourist Association of the Skive-area is another good source of information.
  • Big untouched areas with tidal meadows 2 km. From the house.

Rentals over a weekend or individual days can probably be arranged.The power is paid for by the renter at the rate of 2,00 Dkr./kwh.
 

Reservations:
For reservations contact the owners (see the bottom). At the time of reservation the form of payment will be agreed on and a deposit of, or equal to, a minimum of 1000 kr. or 25% of the rent should be transferred. When the transfer is complete the owner’s last name will be noted on the homepage in the table below. This way you can make sure everything is OK.

Check-in.
Depending on what you have agreed on, the keys and directions can be picked up at Mary and Kristian Dalgaard’s house, 10 km. from the summerhouse. This will normally happen around 2 pm on Saturday. The rent will be paid at the same time.

When you arrive at the summerhouse the meter must be read. If the house has just recently been rented, the reading from the departing guests will be used.The house shall be left cleaned the following Saturday by 12 pm. You can expect an inspection between 10 am and 12 noon. If the house is not properly cleaned it will be cleaned at the renter’s expense (1000kr.). Payment of power, returning of the keys and the refund of the deposit will happen per agreement with Mary and Kristian Dalgaard.

Household items such as food, drinks, shampoo, cleaning supplies, towels etc. Should be bought or brought along. The house is equipped with pillows and comforters for 8 people, but bed linen should be brought.
